West Ham United have stepped up their survival push by signing striker Pablo Felipe and agreeing a deal for Taty Castellanos.
The two moves could cost up to £47m and have been driven by manager Nuno Espírito Santo.
Pablo joins from Gil Vicente for £18.3m plus add-ons.
The 21-year-old has scored nine goals this season and takes the No 19 shirt.
West Ham have also reached an agreement with Lazio for Castellanos in a £26.1m deal.
The 27-year-old forward has two goals in 12 games this season.
The Hammers dropped interest in Jørgen Strand Larsen after rejecting Wolves’ £40m valuation.
They remain keen on Fulham winger Adama Traoré.
West Ham sit 18th and are short of strikers after Niclas Füllkrug joined Milan on loan.
They are also selling winger Luis Guilherme to Sporting.
